Jan Erasmus matriculated at Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool in 1976 and furthered his studies at the University of Pretoria.
In July 1988 he became a partner at a medium firm based in Pretoria, where he practiced for 13 years.
In 2001 he established a new firm called Jan Erasmus Auditors, where he practiced for 19 years as a sole proprietor.
In August 2019 Ruhan Steyn joined the team and our new firm will be known as Erasmus Steyn Incorporated.
Jan will continue to offer his knowledge and expertise in the new firm!
Ruhan Steyn grew up in Tzaneen and matriculated at Merensky High School in 2004. He furthered his studies at the University of the North West – Potchefstroom Campus and the University of South Africa.
In April 2014 he founded the firm RCS Auditors and has been practicing as a sole proprietor for the past 5 years.
In August 2019 RCS Auditors merged with Jan Erasmus Auditors to form the new firm Erasmus Steyn Inc where Ruhan will continue to offer his knowledge and expertise.
Marné Hugo grew up in Bellville, Cape Town, and matriculated at Bellville Hoërskool in 2015. She furthered her studies at the University of South Africa.
She obtained her Bachelor of Accounting Sciences degree in 2018 and her postgraduate diploma in Applied Accounting Sciences in 2019.
She completed her SAICA Articles during the period 2016 – 2019 and continued to work as an audit manager at the article firm.
She joined Erasmus Steyn Incorporated in 2021 as an audit manager.
She passed the SAICA board exam in 2021 and was admitted as a member of SAICA in 2022.
Thereafter, she successfully completed the Audit Development Programme offered by IRBA and was admitted as a Registered Auditor in 2023.
Marné was appointed director in 2023 and will continue to offer her knowledge and expertise in the firm.
